A huge grin took Andrew by surprise; he was glad that Avalon didn't hate him. Nobody likes to be hated right? "That's good...I don't know very many people here...'s not fun to be hated by one of the only girls you know." Wow, Johnston that sounded pathetic. Great job, He thought but dropped the thought. He was still happy so it really didn't matter.
Both Dylan and Drew were walking backwards and Dylan actually tripped over a log, Drew was very close but found his balence just in time. "Wow I'm so klutzy, good thing I'm not human. I swear I'd be dead right now." Dylan said and Drew couldn't help but laugh. "I think I know what you mean."
"Yeah, we're going to the bookstore. It's right up there isn't it?" Drew pointed NorthEast and then turned back to Avalon. "I dunno....Dylan can you think of anything she'd have to know? Just...oh! Just don't go over the Quiliute border. That's the only big thing I've got...." Drew twisted his mouth to the side and seriously tried to think of crucial things.
ooc; im soooo out of practice... : P

So he doesn't want me to hate him? That's a good sign... and since im one of the only girlshe know, does that mean he doesn't have a girlfriend...OH! SHUT UP Avalon! You are getting way ahead of yourself... he may not even like you like that... Stop acting like a lovesick teenager... She thought to herself.
Avalon smiled when Drew almost tripped. "Yeah, am I the only graceful one here?" she said, laughing. When she asked if there was anything she should know, She expected a no but got 'Don't gop over the Quiliute Border' instead. "Why can't I go over the Quiliute border?" Avalon asked, looking at Drew curiously. Things were definately different here, and it would take some getting used to.

Yeah, we're going to the bookstore. It's right up there isn't it?" Drew said and pointed soemwhere. "Yeh right over there," Dylan agreed and turned his body a little to move that way. Avalon asked if there was anything that she had needed to know being new in town and such. "I dunno....Dylan can you think of anything she'd have to know? Just...oh! Just don't go over the Quiliute border. That's the only big thing I've got...." Drew said. Dylan laughed at Drew's suddeness and said "Nope I can't think of anything really besides that faact of not going past the Quiliute Border." Dylan said and agreed. If there was anything she would really need to know was not to go past that border. "Why can't I go over the Quiliute border?" Avalon said asking Drew. Dylan decided he would answer for him. "Werewolves." He said in an almost whispering voice. "There are werewolves in the quiliute boundaries and vampires are are enemies with werewolves. If you were to cross that border bad things will happen." Dylan finished off and smiled. "Drew do you want to add anything?" He added.

"Whoop, I knew it. So, if you don't mind my asking, Avalon what kind of books were you gonna' look for?" Drew really was curious. He hadn't tried reading in a long time.... most of the stories plot lines he'd read had been used before in other stories. Sometimes he imagined that he could write better himself, though he never had tried.
When Avalon asked about why she couldn't, Dylan answered with, "Werewolves. There are werewolves in the uiliute boundaries and vampires are enemies with werewolves. If you were to cross that border, bad things will happen." In a whispering tone that sounded a little bit like a kid Drew used to go to Swim Camp with. And that of course, made him snicker.
Drew felt a smile creep up onto his face, "Dude you make it sound like a scary story!" Drew laughed a little bit and then turning back to Avalon he said, "I've met some werewolves and some of them really aren't half bad. They just....how do I put this nicely? They stink. Really really really bad...but then again we stink to them too so I guess it's kind of even...that and the fact that I'm more a cat person, myself." Drew pointed to himself and grinned, it was true...dogs had always hated him. Was that scar on his leg not from a dog?
"And I really can't think of anything to add other than how much I wish I could cross the border. I hear that they have some pretty awesome cliffs out there....and I haven't been cliff diving in wayyy to long." Grinning, Drew turned back around and noticed that they were actually very very close to the book store. Time goes fast when you're having fun...
"You don't mind if we go in with you?" Drew asked Avalon and gestured toward the store. Who knew...maybe there would be a good book for once.

Werewolves. That's why she couldn't go over the boarder. " Oh, nothing in particular, just whatever jumps out at me..." Avalon said, answering Drew's question from earlier. In fact the bookstore was just up ahead.
When Drew mentioned Cliff Diving, Avalon smiled. She was an excellent cliff diver and wished she could go over the Quilute border just as much as Drew. "You don't mind if we go in with you?" Drew asked, quietly. She shook her head no and continued up the street toward the bookstore.

"Dude you make it sound like a scary story!" Drew said and then laughed. "Oh thankss. That's what I was aiming at" Dylan told him with a smile. "I've met some werewolves and some of them really aren't half bad. They just....how do I put this nicely? They stink. Really really really bad...but then again we stink to them too so I guess it's kind of even...that and the fact that I'm more a cat person, myself." Drew said. "Well, yeh Drew pretty much just summed it up there." Dylan said with a laugh. Dylan heard Avalon answer a question that Drew asked a bit ago. "Sounds good. Ima come in will y'all. Okay?" He said with a smile. He didn't have anywhere else to be.

..."That about sums it up, " Dylan laughed and Drew smiled. "Sure does."
"Sounds good to me. So...how weird is it really, that we were all in," or near..."Port Angeles at the same time? 'Guess fate didn't want us hating each other, eh Avalon?" Drew grinned and as they approached the book store, ran up the steps in front of the other two--maybe a little too fast to blend nicely--and took a snapshot of the two recently acquired friends...if you could call them that, as they walked up the stairs. Candids were always nice and as he looked at the camera's screen; saw that the picture turned out really good. "Still Dylan, thanks for returning this. I think I owe you one." Andrew smiled and leaned against a brick wall.

Maybe thay were trying to freak her out a little about the werewolves but she wasn't at all concerned. They were almost to the bookstore when Drew said something about fate not wanting them to hate each other. It was a little bit of a concidence that they had ran into each other, but Avalon didn't think it was fate. Before they reached the bookstore, Drew ran up the stairs ahead of them and took a quick picture of her and Dylan. "Still Dylan, thanks for returning this. I think I owe you one." Drew said, leanign against a brick wall. Dear lord, that boy is fiiine! Avalon thought to herself, watching him lean against the wall so casually.

"Still Dylan, thanks for returning this. I think I owe you one." Drew told Dylan with a smile. "Ah, no problem man. Anytime, your just like really lucky it didn't fall into the lake. I so wouldn't have got it then." Dylan said with a laugh. "I don't owe you one. There is nothing you could do for me." Dylan added with smile.
Dylan looked at Avalon and she looked dazed. She was looking at Drew like she liked him. She was a really pretty girl but Dylan was taken, by Hilary. Hilary was the only one he wanted. He couldn't possibly imagine living life without her. There would be no other reason to live without her. Dylan decided he would definatly have to take Avalon and Drew to meet Hilary if they hadn't already.

..."Awnytime, you're just like, really lucky it didn't fall into the lake. I so wouldn't have gotten it then," Dylan laughed. Andrew tried not to shudder at the thought of his camera falling in the lake. Yes, he could always buy a new one and he would've done that...if he had that much money to spend. Drew had had that camera since 1980 and it still worked amazingly enough.
"I am lucky. And of course I owe you. If there's every anything I can do, just tell me, mkay'?" Drew grinned and followed Dylan's gaze and found Avalon staring. After a couple seconds of trying to figure out what was wrong, Avalon was still unphased and Drew looked the other direction. She looked dazed for some reason and she just happened to be staring at Drew himself. Once again, Drew knew that if he were human he would be blushing...it was the obvious reaction to this situation; but of course he didn't.
After another short while, Andrew cleared his throat, smiled softly and went to open the door. He held it and waited for both Dylan, and then Avalon to go inside.

Avalon stared at Drew with a dazed expression. She had only ment to look at him but the moment she went to lok away, she heard a familiar voice in her head. "Hello, Cousin. How are you? Its been a while, longer than I would have expected. How is your... diet going? Not as good as human blood is it? Well I just wanted to let you know I was here, but I have to go... I'm a bit hungry. See you soon.. " Eric's voice said in her head. She was so shocked she was not aware of the rest of to world. She couldn't see anything, couldn't hear anything except the sound of Eric's voice in her head, making her nausous. She ran to the trees off to the side and threw up the Elk blood she had drank before going to Port Angeles. How did he find me? Why won't he leave me alone? Avalon thought to herself. She sank to the ground and leaned back against the nearest tree. If vampires could cry, she would be bawling her eyes out? how had her cousin, practically her brother, turned into such a vile creature? Why did he enjoy taking lives? How did he enjoy taking the lives of people who had families? How could he take away someone's mother or father, brother or sister, and not be reminded of how devastated he was when he lost his family? These where the silent questions that plagued her as she sat there, feeling more alone and scared than she ever had in her life.

Avalon stared blanklessly. Almost as if someone was talking to her telepathically. "Avalon? Are you okay?" Dylan said and then Avalon ran behind a tree. She sank to the ground next to the nearest tree there was. Dylans face looked confused. He didn't know what to do. Avalon threw up blood. Dylan looked away and then looked back at her. He walked over to her and sat beside her. "Hey, Ava, are you okay hun?" He said using Ava as a nickname and he didn't mean anything by hun. He was just saying hun as in using it in a caring voice. Dylan looked over at Drew and motioned for him to come over by them.

Every second that nobody moved, made him just a little bit more uncomfortable. And after about a minute, his smile disappeared almost completely. Avalon was very pale, even for a vampire which couldn't be good by anyone's standards. And after a few more minutes, she just took off. Took off. At first Drew didn't know what to think, or how to react but Dylan motioned for them both to go after her...which, when you thought about it, made sense. Andrew probably wasn't the best at figuring out 'what next' with girls.
When they got to where she had stopped, the first thing Drew noticed was Avalon, leaning against a tree and then an anything-but-unnoticeable puddle of blood on the ground not far away. Dylan was asking her if she was okay...Drew was sure that his eyebrows were probably in his hair at the moment because he was shocked. He in all his 130 years as a vampire, he couldn't remember once throwing up. Not even after drinking; which kind of said something.
Carefully, Drew kneeled beside Avalon and rested a hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay? What...what's wrong? What happened?"

The guys were both concerned, and even though she wasn't looking, Avalon could tell from the tone of their voices and the gently hands on her shoulders. In the back of her mind, she knew she should be embarressed, but she was stillto shocked to care. "Why? Why me? Why now? Can't he just leave me in peace?" she whispered, trying to steady her ragged breaths. Avalon sat there a few moments before she opened her eyes. Drew and Dylan were staring at her with concerned eyes. " Are you okay? What...what's wrong? What happened?" Drew asked. Avalon Shook her head. "I'm fine. Sorry." was all she said in reply. They helped her up and she tried to act normal as they continued to the bookstore, but soemthing Eric had said kept nagging at her. See you soon... he had said. Did that mean he knew where I lived? thought as they walked through the bookstore.

"Why? Why me? Why now? Can't he just leave me in peace?" Dylan heard Avalon whisper. Dylan just raised his eyebrows and him and Drew both helped Avalon up. They continued to the bookstore. "So, uhm." Dylan coughed and changed the subject. "Yeh, Whatd yall do today." Dylan said with a hyper tone in his voice. He was trying to change the subject, trying to make everyone forget what happened. Trying to cheer Avalon up, if that was possible.
