Today Dylan decided to take a walk to the boardwalk. The tempurature was mooderatly good today, no rain, but no sun. It was really really cloudy. He swung his keys around as they were attached a chain and he caught then in his hand. " Out to lunch (just kidding) I love you." He wrote jokingly on the paper that went on the counter for Hilary. She knew as a vampire he wasnt going to go to a restraunt to eat and he had just hunted so he was full. He walked to his car with his keys still tangled around his hand from catching them. He untangled himself and unlocked the car. He hoped in and stuck the key in the ignition. "So bored." he said to himself as he pulled out of the drive. "Left. right. right. left." He said as he turned corners. Hilary was out with her girlfriends today, girls day out, again. He realized that Hilary needed her time alone but he really missed when she wasnt home. ' home' as in their home. He really loved living with her. He almost got every second of his time with her. When he arrived at the boardwalk and got out of the car and locked it. He grabbed his phone and walked out onto the boardwalk. When he got out their he noticed something laying really close to falling off the boardwalk. "Hmm.." He said as he walked over to the item. As he got closer to it he realized that it was a camera. He picked it up and examined it. Andrew Johnston, it said on the front with permanent marker. "Andrew?" Dylan asked himself. "Drew?" He said trying to think of who this would belong to. "OH!" He said as he remembered the Drew he met the other day and how he asked for Dylan to look around for his camera. "This must be that one Drew's camera." He said and then pulled out his phone. He looked in his contact list for Drew and then finally found him in the d's, obviously. "Hey, Drew, This is Dylan, I found your camera. If you show up at the boardwalk I'll give it back to you. I'm here right now." He texted and then sent the message. He bent down to pick up a rock and chunked it across the water. It was more on the flat side so it skipping along the water. He turned around and set the camera on the ground so he didn't have to hold it and paced back and forth as he waited for Drew to show up.

Drew let his glasses slip down his nose, like they were always doing and heaved an unnecessary sigh. School was out a day early for the week, a three-day weekend and he didn't have a thing to do. On top of that, he still didn't have his camera. At the moment, Andrew was walking down the highway, towards Port Angeles. There wasn't exactly a reason except for he had nothing better to do. First, he kicked a rock and watched it bounce maybe a mile and a half down the road before coming to a stop. Next, Drew imagined having a dog. How would that be? Closing his eyes, Andrew concentrated on just that. A golden retriever. He thought about how the dogs fur would feel between his fingers, how it's disgusting doggy breathe would smell, how its wet nose would feel, pressing its wet nose into his hand; and there it was. He had warped or created the dog and it was right there in front of him. Sure it would fade away later on, but for the time being...he had a dog. Drew smiled, threw a stick and watched as the dog ra n far and fast to fetch it. To his dismay, on the dogs trip back, it faded away into a could of mist and then nothing. He couldn't help but wish he had skills like his big bro. Hanging his head and feeling low, Drew felt his cell phone buzz in his hoody pocket. The screen was blinking and under further inspection he realized there was a text from Dylan. It took him awhile to remember exactly who Dylan was but then he had it. Dylan was the guy from the woods that one time... 'Hey, Drew, This is Dylan. I found your camera. If you show up at the boardwalk I'll give it back to you. I'm here right now.' Andrew felt his face transform into a smile. Having almost forgotten his momentary pet, Drew took on a full-out sprint towards Port Angeles to meet Dylan. He found my camera!

Avalon let out a sigh and finally admitted that she need new clothes. Her old ones were full of holes and tears and stains. Even her newest pair of jeans were looking worn, she had bought them last year. Avalon was probably one a the few girls who absolutely hated shopping. It's so pointless, worrying that you won't find the right shoes to go with this dress and trying to find just the right size of jeans blah, blah, blah... she thought to herself. She put on a black dress (without holes) and slipped on some black flats, grabbed her keys and head to Port Angeles to do some shopping.
After buying severaly new outfits and a new pair of shoes, Avalon went for a walk down to the boardwalk. It was a wonderful day, cloudy but no rain, and she was going to take advantage of it. She walked for awhile, not thinking anything could ruin her perfect mood, and then she saw Drew.

Drew had one of the biggest smiles on his face he'd had all day, or week. Ever since he'd lost that dumb camera last week he had been going crazy. It seemed like all of the good things to photograph popped up when he had nothing to photograph them with.
Of course.
Eventually, Andrew could see the board walk...he was so close. Pushing his glasses up again, Drew cleared his throat and gave a tiny wave to the girl standing right there. He hadn't even seen her standing there but she looked shocked. It was Avalon. "Hi there, Avalon." With a tiny grin, Drew wondered if she still hated him.

When Drew reached Dylan, Dylan smiled. "here's your camera. It was this close to falling into the water." He said putting his thumb and finger up to indicate how close. He handed the camera to Drew and Drew seemed to be really excited to get his camera back. Dylan turned around when Drew said hi to someone. It turned out to be Avalon, the girl from the woods. "Oh hey Avalon." Dylan said and waved his hand for her to come over. After Drew and Avalons little argument the other night Dylan didnt know how this would end out.

"Hi there, Avalon." Drew said, followed by "Oh hey Avalon." from Dylan and a waved to come over to where they were standing. Avalon, stood there comtemplating whether or not to go over and decided that she would, just to find out if they knew where she could find the bookstore. She walked over and held back the urge to stick out her tongue at Drew. She still wasn't entirely over what had happened in the forest. "Umm... Hey." she said quietly. They seemed friendly enough. They smiled at her and she permitted herself a tiny smile in response. Wow, he's even cuter than I remembered... she thought to herself, Dylan's cute to but not my type. Drew, however, is.... No! Don't be stupid... she tried to stop thinking about Drew because she was supposed to hate him for being a jerk but it was pretty hard when he was so gorgeous ! " Hey, do either of you happent o know where the bookstore is?" she asked to get her mind back to the task at hand. She need to stay focused and keep her head out of the clouds because she knew all to well what happened when people get distracted....

Avalon walked over and smiled a tiny bit. Seeing that and the fact that Dylan had his camera was enough to make his current tiny smile turn into a full out - dimpled grin. The kind that makes your eyes crinkle in the corners. "Thanks man, I thought it was gone for good. I owe you one okay?" Still smiling, he turned back to Avalon when she asked about a bookstore...
"Actually I do. I was just there the other day....You want me to walk you there? It really isn't far." Drew bit his lip and shifted his feet. Avalon was wearing just plain black. A black dress and black shoes. You would think it would look boring but on her, it looked stunning. Something about the contrast of how pale she was against the black...it was something he wanted to photograph, but of course he didn't. That would be weird.
Clearing his throat, Drew looked over to the sea. If he were human, he'd be blushing.

Dylan could tell that Avalon liked Drew and Drew liked Avalon. An audience going aww played in his mind. Avalon asked where the bookstore was and Drew offered to walk her there. "Yeh, I'll come to. If you want Avalon" He offered and then let Avalon talk.

He's offering to walk me to the bookstore... but hes probably just trying to get on my good side... but its kinda sweet.... She thought to herself. She nodded, "Sure." and Dylan immediately took the lead, leaving Drew and Avalon in the back, following silently. She tried to stop the teenage girl babble that was going through her head but she continued to wonder what had provoked this sweet gesture. Avalon was more confused than ever...

Running a hand through his hair, Andrew wondered what to say next... and he also wondered what it was about Avalon that made himm so shy...he wasn't that person. Wasn't the shy guy whose mind comes up blank around girls. Apparently it was somthing new and he couldn't help but wonder why that was.
Dylan was walking ahead a little bit making the situation even more awkward...or was he just imagining that? "So, um...you live in Forks? Have you lived here very long?"
Andrew threw another glance at the ocean that was become further away with every step he took. He could only be glad though, that it wasn't an insanely bright day...because of the clouds, he could be out in the sun without attracting attention.
ooc|| omg that was horrible! im so uncreative today!

Dylan laughed when he looked back and they both stood there awkwardly. "Come on, I'm not going to bite." He said with laughter. When they both got caught up to him Drew tryed to end the silence. "So, um... you live in Forks? Have you lived here very long??" Dylan smiled. "Well, I'm not sure if you were talking to me. But I do live in Forks." He said with a big smile on his face.

Avalon smiled. Maybe these guys weren't so bad. It was obvious that Drew was a little nervous and she wondered if it was her. " So, um... You live in Forks? Have you lived here very long?" Drew asked. "Well I'm not sure if you;re talking to me. but I do live in Forks." Dylan said with a big smile on his face. Avalon unable to stop herself, laughed. Dylan was definately the goofiest of the three. " I actually just moved to Forks a couple of weeks ago." Avalon said Looking at Drew with a smile.

After a while longer of unexplaned awkwardness Dylan told them that he didn't bite which Drew found funny because of the Irony in it. Them all being vampires... Andrew tried his best and actually did relax almost completely. Drew placed his hand lightly on Avalons back for almost half a second, said , "come on..." and jogged to meet Dylan where he was walking a few yards ahead.
"Good to know Dylan." Drew laughed; he was talking to Avalon but it was cool for Dylan to answer too... Walking backwards, Drew looked at Avalon who was still a little behind. "I actually just moved to Forks a couple of weeks ago." and smiled.
Drew smiled back and said, "So I'm guessing you don't hate me anymore?"

"Good to know Dylan." Drew laughed. Dylan switched to walking backwards so he could still be facing his new friends. "Isn't it though?" Dylan said with a laugh, replying to what Drew said. Dylan tripped over a log that was sitting there but he caught himself and it barley looked like he fell. "Wow I'm so clutxy, good thing I'm not human. I swear i'd be dead right now." He said with a laugh and then turned around and got on the side of Drew and Avalon. "So where are we going again? Bookstore?" He asked.

Avalon smiled. "No, I don't hate you anymore, Drew." Actually its kind of the opposite... she thought to herself and laughed when Dylan tripped over a log. She nodded when Dylan asked where we were going. " So, is there anything I should know, with me being new to town and all..." Avalon asked, smiling at each boy in turn. Why does he have to be so good looking? Why am I flirting with him... I'm sure he has a girlfriend... she thought, her mind wandering on the walk to the bookstore. Things were different now...
