So come on get higher, loosen my lips. Faith && desire at the swing of your hips. As Tessa walked into the now familiar hallways of Forks High School, something seemed off. Looking around, an unsettling feeling hit her as she noticed that no one else was in the hallway. Was school canceled today or something? she thought to herself. Quickly, she grabbed out her cell phone, looking at the date first. In blue letters, the date on her phone claimed it was indeed Monday. No wonder I feel so tired, she thought, wondering how bad her exhaustion was showing on her face. Shaking her head at her ability to get so off topic, she checked the time, and sighed, knowing why the hallways were so empty. Classes had already been in session for fifteen minuets. She had just ended up being extremely late.
Tessa was sort of confused on how she hadn't noticed the time before, but decided to ignore it as she made her way to her locker. As she passed by a mirror in the hallway, she stopped to check out her appearance. Today, she was wearing a pair of dark wash denim shorts and a black hoodie that had 'Boston' written on it in blue letters. On her feet were a pair of black flip flops while her hair was thrown up in a messy bun. It wasn't exactly an outfit to please people, just something that was nice and comfy for a Monday morning. Not really caring too much about her appearance anymore, she continued down the hallway until she got to her locker. Once there, she grabbed the nob and spun the combination until she easily popped her locker open. OOC; yup yup . Outfit; described . Tags; randy.

So come on get higher, loosen my lips. Faith && desire at the swing of your hips. Tessa had managed to shove her messenger bag into her locker. As she looked at it, she noticed that her locker had become rather messy in the past few weeks. I'll have to remember to clean it out soon... she mused in her head as she grabbed out her science book, notebook, a pencil, and a pen. She contemplated if she should grab her stuff for her second hour also, but decided against it, not wanting to lug around more than she had to.
After closing her locker, she was about to turn to go to her class when she noticed something right next to her. As a natural human reaction, she jumped as her heart began racing. Of course, her heart began to slow down when she noticed it was another student at her locker. In the back of her mind, she knew that she should be racing off to class, making up an excuse for why she was so late, but as she examined the boy that now occupied the locker next to hers, she wasn't sure if she still wanted to. Tessa has to admit, he was incrediably gorgeous. Wonder why I haven't seen him around before. she thought.
Tessa was getting ready to introduce herself, but the boy ended up beating her to it. She was surprised and how smooth his voice seemed. It was incredibly cute and charming. Deciding to get some enjoyment out of the day, she smiled at him and said, "Thank goodness. It was getting pretty lonely over here." The tone Tessa used made it seem like she was trying to flirt with him, and in a way, that was kind of true. Part of her wanted to flirt, play around with him, just for the heck of it. The other part...well, that part said any type of flirting automatically made her a slut, which was a title she was trying to loose. Breaking out of her thought, she realized that she still needed to introduce herself. "Tessa Bryant," she said, giving him a warm smile. OOC; yup yup . Outfit; described . So come on get higher, loosen my lips. Faith && desire at the swing of your hips. When Kendall exclaimed that he tends to pep up the moment, she replied saying, "Well, I suppose that's a good thing. Especially since there is so much rain here." Once again, she realized that her 'meant to be innocent' response turned out to come off in a sort of flirty way. I really need to work on that, she thought, as part of her worried that the boy would get annoyed of her flirty ways; especially since they had just met. Of course, the worry soon went away when Kendall ended up winking at her.
When the boy asked her if she wanted to ditch, her eyebrows raised, sort of surprised. Though Tessa defiantly wasn't the most liked person in the school, she was still in the loop, and since she hadn't seen this boy before, part of her assumed he was new. Never thought of someone skipping on their first day... she thought to herself, but who was she to object? Besides, it was the perfect chance for her to make a friend, which was something that she was in desperate need of. "Uhh, sure," she said to him, figuring that the pros of skipping we're a lot better than the cons. "Thought I'm not exactly sure where we can go....." she said truthfully, seeming as the town they lived in was pretty small. OOC; ehh, not my best, : / . Outfit; described . So come on get higher, loosen my lips. Faith && desire at the swing of your hips. When Kendall suggested going for a walk or something, she said a quick "Mkay," still wondering exactly where they would go. Her mind was about to go off wandering, but it stopped as he smiled at her and pushed a stray piece of hair behind her ear. She could feel her eyebrows go up a little, surprised by his action. Generally, that was supposed to be some uber romantic gesture, right? Or was it that this guy was just sweetly nice? Does it really matter? You really think to much. It was true, Tessas mind was always going. Sometimes, it was useful. Other times, it just got her in a buttload of trouble.
When Kendall said that he'd be right back, she quizzically looked at him and said, "Okay?" but by the time she had said it, he had already begun walking down the hallway. Tessa had no idea what he was going to do, but a small part of her believed that he was just going to ditch her and leave her in the hall. Whatever, she thought as she walked over to the side of the hall to lean against a locker.
It was only a few short minuets until Kendall reappeared again, claiming that everything was taken care of. Once again, she raised her eyebrows, sort of surprised that he had so easily persuaded a secretary. Kendall began walking, so she took a few strides "And how did you manage to do that?" she asked curiously, surprised. Not that she minded though. Who would want to spend the day stuck in school when you could easily get out of it?
When she pushed through the front door, she immediately remembered the school books that she was still holding in her hands. Looking over at Kendall, she realized that he was also holding his books. "Maybe we should set down our books or something?" she suggested, guessing that neither of them wanted to walk around carrying a buttload of books.

So come on get higher, loosen my lips. Faith && desire at the swing of your hips. When Kendall claimed that smoothing your voice out could convince anyone of anything, she couldn't help but to raise her eyebrows some. Part of her wondered just how often he lied, since it seemed like he had his technique already perfected. Maybe that's not such a bad thing... she thought to herself before saying, "You should help me out with that sometime." If he was as good as he claimed, she could use a few pointers. You never know when you'll get into some crazy situation, she thought honestly.
Tessa watched as Kendall grabbed her books and headed back to their lockers. Wonder how he's planning on getting mine back in there, she thought hesitantly. She was about to walk over to her locker so that she could unlock it, but she watched as he easily got it open and put her's back in there. Watch, the dang thing is probably broken, she thought to herself as she watched Kendall sort of jog back over to where she was. Giving him a warm smile, she said a small 'Thanks' and followed him as they began walking.
As the two of them walked to the park in silence, she couldn't help but to feel a little surprised. Normally, if she was walking with a person in silence like this, it would be really weird and awkward, but with Kendall, it was sort of relaxing. I mean, obviously, they had something to talk about. The two of them barely knew each other. But as they walked, it just seemed like they were staying silent for some relaxing time to think or something. It was sort of calming to her.
When they reached the park, she looked around, realizing that it was only somewhat familiar to her. Sure, she had been there plenty of times on runs and things, but she had never really been there for just a casual stroll. Now that she was just walking through it, things looked sort of different to her. When Kendall finally broke the silence, she couldn't help the smile that broke across her face as he rhymed. She also couldn't help but say, "Soooo, you can break a rhyme anytime?" It was a sort of cheesy thing to say, but she couldn't help herself. After chuckling at her lameness for a minuet, she said, "Yeah, this is actually really nice. It's nice to get away from things a little bit."
When Tessa was asked to tell a little about herself, she bit her lip for a minuet, trying to think of the right things to say. "Well, let's see. I was born in a small town in Florida. I grew up there for a couple years until me and my dad moved to Detroit, Michigan. Then a couple months ago, I ended up moving here. I've played basketball since I was a little girl and I'm huge on anything in the creative arts department. That's probably one of the reasons I'm so obsessed with music." She was sort of proud. She had given a pretty good description of herself, leaving out all of the rough parts of her past and present. Deciding that she had mainly added positives, with a small shrug, she admitted, "I'm also sort of a science nerd." Not many people knew about that part of her, but it was true. She loved science. She always had, and she probably always would. Deciding to stop talking about herself, she turned to him and asked, "What about you? You just moved here, right?"

So come on get higher, loosen my lips. Faith && desire at the swing of your hips. When Kendall claimed that he was born with his charm, she couldn't help but chuckle a little at how it sounded just a tad cocky, but she didn't mind. For the most part, cockiness was confidence. Well, unless you had too much cockiness. She listened contently on some of the pointers he gave her and couldn't help but smile. Put on one of her flirty smiles, she flipped her hair behind her shoulder, looked up at him, and in a smooth, confident voice, said, "Like this?" She wondered if that had any effect on him, or if she had just made herself look like a total goof.
When Kendall claimed that he was a math geek, a small smile appeared on her face. "Really?" she asked, glad to find someone else that was sort of a geek for some subject in school, even if it wasn't the same subject. Weirdly enough, she wasn't the greatest at math either. Maybe I could get help from him sometime... she mused in her head.
Tessa listened as Kendall explained things about his life, and she couldn't help to feel a little shocked when he got to the fact about his sister. From the sounds of it, it had been eight years since the girl ran away. Generally, ten year olds don't last that long on there own. Of course, she wasn't going to share that thought with him. "I'm sorry about your sister," she said sincerely. Though Tessa didn't have any siblings herself, this small tad of information about his family made it feel like she could relate to him. Sure, she didn't have any family members that would run away or anything, but she had a mom that was a drug addict and a father that was now dead. Thinking about her family sort of downed her mood, so she decided to look onto something more positive. When Kendall claimed that he was looking for friends like her, a small smile came to her face. "Well, I'm glad I could meet you," she said honestly.
